During the configuration, I chose Hey Jarvis as the wake word and set the Focused Local Assistant to use with the device. All Bluetooth requirements are automatically configured.
Most of these cloud-dependent speakers struggle to work with Home Assistant.

Manual Device Registration
Speaking of configurations, I’ve come across a common issue where devices refuse to register automatically on myopenhab.org.
These adapters may also miss advertisements such as button presses or temperature updates.

These adapters do not have a reset pin. With the three pre-defined wake word options, I stuck with Hey Jarvis wake word to change the state of the smart devices.
My Echo, however, refused to play any source of media for me from Home Assistant.

The ATOM Echo’s configuration appears in the ESPHome integration menu, allowing you to try a different wake word and select its engine location to determine which one works best.
So, if you want to use a Windows computer to start music playback from Spotify on your HomePod, Home Assistant can help you with that.

Once you click that button, you're looking for either the Google Cast or Apple TV integration. By manually registering these devices, I was able to get them up and running without any hiccups. Enabling this integration may prevent an integration that has not been updated to use newer methods from functioning.
Deleting the config entry for this integration will release control of the adapter and allow another integration to gain exclusive use of the Bluetooth adapter.
