Gmail Sign Up On Web (PC/Laptop)

1. Launch a web browser.
2. Please visit www.gmail.com.
3. Press the "Create account" button.
4. Pick an account holder: me, my kid, or company.
5. Submit your information:
   • Name (both first and last)
   • Preferred Gmail account name (e.g., [email protected])
   • Make sure your password is strong by using a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols, and then confirm it.
6. Press the Next button.

5. Type the verification code into the field on the Gmail sign-up page.

Why is phone verification required? Google uses phone verification to prevent spam accounts, enhance security, and help users recover their accounts if they forget their passwords.

If you prefer not to use a phone number, you can select Skip when asked to enter your mobile number.

4. Once done, you can easily switch between accounts by clicking your profile picture and selecting the desired Gmail account.

Can I delete a Gmail account?

Yes, you can delete your Gmail account, but this will permanently remove your emails and prevent you from using that email address again.

You can adjust these under Settings > Inbox.
