For dust and other dirt: Due to the scales of the wool structure dust is trapped in the outer layers of the wool and can therefore easily be cleaned. They are set on wooden blocks to both make them stand up well on our play mats and to lend them a retro feeling.

If the article is smaller and soiled gently hand wash it in lukewarm water using wool soap. Pure wool felt toys and loose parts are made by hand at fairly traded rates of pay. The products are then handmade in Nepal, by talented local artisans and under Fair Trade Conditions. They are glued onto a wooden slice for very stable standing.

If the article is large and flat it can be vacuumed. From 20-30cm high.

Dispose of all packaging before giving this product to a child.

Papoose Felt is made from pure 100% wool and therefore cleaned similarly to wool.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

For liquid spills: Wool is naturally water repellent and if spills are dealt with immediately the wool wont absorb much liquid.

This will further felt the article and it will shrink and distort the item.

NOTE: Stuffed toys will take a longer time to dry so make sure the items are fully dry before using them again. It is advised that they be surface cleaned rather than immersed completely in water.

If the wood looks dry, you can simply wipe the item with food-safe oil, such as linseed or tung oil to rejuvenate it.

Safety

Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts. If you are using this product with wet materials, such as water, soap or vinegar, please rinse and dry it as soon as possible after the play has finished, as water and soap will dry out the wood over time.
